Rain on Fifth Avenue
Rain has a way of slowing a city down and speeding up a photographer's eye at the same time. I spent three hours under an awning on Fifth Avenue waiting for the light to do something interesting with the reflections.
This frame came together in the last twenty minutes before the rain let up — a single figure breaking from the crowd, umbrella forgotten, newspaper held overhead instead.
