Subway Light

Tokyo's subway platforms are some of the most photographed spaces in the world, and for good reason. The light is unforgiving but consistent, which makes it a great place to practice anticipation.

I waited at Shibuya station for a passing train to throw motion blur across the platform, then this commuter stepped into frame at exactly the right moment.
